Bera Foods pays $10,000 for fake honey

Bera Foods, recently served with an infringement notice by the ACCC, has paid $10,200 for misrepresenting its product through its labeling.

Claiming it was “Honey” and implying through its label imagery that the product was Australian made, when in reality the product was mostly plant sugars, and primarily made in Turkey.
