The harsh climate of Australia has been battled for the better part of 200 years, and farming has provided rural areas with employment, shaped our biodiversity and conservation, and provided much of the food which Australians eat.
Agriculture also provides us with export earnings – safe, clean food of high quality has long been a point of pride among Australian farmers.
