Pizza Hut franchisees begin class action over price war

A class-action has begun after several disgruntled Pizza Hut franchisees were forced to take part in a price-war with Pizza Hut and competitor, Domino’s.

The price war has resulted in several franchisees losing their ability to make a profit,  as a result of having to trade at a loss or on margins too slim to survive upon.

One franchisee also lodged a complaint with the ACCC, claiming Pizza Hut’s actions forced them in to insolvency and the termination of their franchise agreement.
